Oyster Creative Co. Reels in Nine Honors at PRSA Pittsburgh Renaissance Awards

Oyster Creative Co., one of Pittsburgh’s fastest growing agencies, harvested quite a few pearls the evening of Thursday, January 27. The agency was honored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Pittsburgh with three Renaissance Awards, five Awards of Merit and Megan Clista, Manager of Social Media, was named this year’s ‘Rising Star.’

PRSA Pittsburgh’s Renaissance Awards honor the best public relations, marketing and communications campaigns, tactics and individual practitioners for their most innovative and creative projects over the past year.

Oyster Creative took home three Renaissance Awards for the N’Art Campaign in the Integrated Marketing Communications category, Connecting Champions Outcomes Report in the Annual Report category, and Koppers CEO Videos – ‘The 412 & A Conversation With’ video series in the Multimedia Content category.

Five Awards of Merits were awarded for the Starglide Moving Beltway Launch in the Integrated Marketing Communications category, N’Art Stickers & Maps in the Promotional category, Instagram Reels in the Multimedia category, Koppers Wrapped in the Measurement and Reporting category, and the Kopper Values Launch in the Internal Communications category.

“This being only Oyster’s second year in existence, it feels incredible to already be honored for the Crew’s hard work,” said Dan Ayer, Co-Founder, Director of PR & Social Media, Oyster Creative Co. “It was also so wonderful to see Megan’s recognized as this year’s ‘Rising Star.’”

Megan Clista, the agency’s Manager of Social Media, was named PRSA Pittsburgh’s Rising Star, an award given to a communications professional with less than five years experience who shows incredible talent and promise.

“All of my first mentors and bosses were women. They were bold and stood out in any room. A character trait I didn’t have when I first started my career. So learning I’d be recognized for PRSA’s Rising Star, I felt like maybe, for the first time, I have some boldness too. It is truly an honor.”
