Our job is to tell diverse and dynamic stories. To do that well, you need people from all backgrounds. Simply put, Pittsburgh hasn’t done a good enough job welcoming and retaining Black communicators. This is our effort to change that. The Big IDEA Internship.
Who, Where, When:
Oyster Creative Co. will host this year’s summer internship program for Black people interested in careers in marketing, advertising and related communications fields.
This paid internship will take place for 12 weeks during the summer of 2022, and will be held in Pittsburgh — with opportunities for remote/virtual work.
What:
Our goal remains the same. To create a more diverse communications industry in Pittsburgh by providing opportunities for Black people to gain valuable work experience and connections
in the field.

Oyster Creative Co. is excited to bring aboard a summer project management intern. We’re open to people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels. Looking for part-time work, taking a gap year or searching to gain professional experience? We got you.
This paid internship will take place from May-August with a 20 hour work week schedule and will be held in Pittsburgh — with opportunities for remote/virtual work.
What:
We’re looking for an extremely detail-oriented, proactive and process driven person to provide daily and weekly project management support to crew members across all projects. This position must thrive in a team environment.
